Landing pages are where paid traffic either converts or leaks. A small business owner running Google Ads, Meta Ads, or a promoted email who sends that traffic to a general homepage is usually paying full price for clicks that convert at homepage rates, which is to say, poorly. A dedicated landing page (one offer, one call to action, no navigation to wander into) is the single highest-leverage fix in that funnel. The category we cover below is the tools that let a non-designer go from a prompt to a live, testable page without booking developer time.
Who this is for
This guide is for owner-operators, small marketing teams, and consultants running one to a few concurrent campaigns. If you’re a Fortune 1000 marketer running twenty-plus ad variants with dedicated per-ad landing pages, this isn’t your guide; Instapage’s AdMap tier and enterprise CRO stacks are built for that job. If you already have a designer or a Webflow site you love, you probably don’t need any of these either. A purpose-built landing page is worth its own tool mostly when the alternative is doing without one. Everyone else, keep reading.
If you’re pairing landing pages with paid outreach, our companion guides to the best AI cold email outreach platforms and the best AI sales prospecting platforms for small B2B teams cover the top-of-funnel side of the same problem.
Our pick: Leadpages
Leadpages rebuilt its product in 2026 and, in the process, moved the CRO features that competitors gate at $149 to $199 onto its $99 entry plan. Leadpages has three plans: Grow at $99/mo, Optimize at $199/mo, and Scale at $399/mo. Every plan includes unlimited traffic, custom domains with SSL, and AI page creation, and A/B testing is included from Grow up. That single fact is what moves it into the top slot for most small businesses.
The AI generator is quick and usable. You describe your campaign, the AI builder turns it into a live, branded landing page, and then the page starts optimizing itself: built-in A/B testing, Smart Traffic that routes each visitor to the variant most likely to convert for them, and heatmaps that show where visitors click. Smart Traffic and heatmaps are the Optimize-tier features, not Grow, but if you start on Grow you still get AI page creation, A/B testing, dynamic text replacement, and lead enrichment. Grow at $99/mo ($79/mo annual) is the real entry tier and the practical starting point for anyone running Facebook, Google, or LinkedIn ads to a landing page. Having no traffic caps means a viral campaign doesn’t surprise you with overage fees the way Unbounce or Instapage can.
The trade-offs are real. There’s no permanent free plan. Grow at $99 is the entry tier for paid-traffic landing pages with testing, Optimize at $199 fits marketers running multiple campaigns, and Scale at $399 is for agencies and enterprise teams. A credit card is required at checkout for the 7-day trial, so set a reminder if you plan to cancel before it ends. The Smart Traffic auto-routing that Leadpages markets on its homepage isn’t on the entry plan either. It’s a real jump to Optimize at $199 to get it. But for the small business who mostly needs “one good landing page, A/B tested, that doesn’t cost me money when traffic hits,” Grow is the tier that fits.
There’s one more differentiator worth noting for anyone already living in Claude or ChatGPT. The 2026 rebuild is a real upgrade: Leadpages ships A/B testing on every paid plan from $99 (Unbounce and Instapage gate this behind their $149 to $199 tiers), Smart Traffic auto-routing on Optimize ($199), and full auto-optimization on Scale ($399). It also ships an MCP server (OAuth, included on every plan), which is rare in this category and useful if you drive page creation from Claude, ChatGPT, or n8n.
Runner-up: Unbounce
Unbounce is the AI landing page brand that most performance marketers know, and its Smart Traffic feature is still the strongest per-visitor variant-routing engine in the category. The reason it’s the runner-up and not the pick is that Unbounce prices its optimization layer aggressively. A/B testing, the baseline of optimization, isn’t on the $99 Build plan; it starts at $149 (Experiment), and Smart Traffic itself doesn’t arrive until $249 (Optimize). So the $99 plan is a builder, the $149 plan is a builder that can test, and the AI everyone associates with Unbounce is a $249 line item.
If you can justify the Optimize tier, the AI does what Unbounce says it does. Smart Traffic (labeled “AI traffic optimization” on the pricing page) automatically routes visitors to the landing page variant most likely to convert for them. The AI copywriting available from the Build plan up helps draft page copy, and Dynamic Text Replacement (available from Experiment) matches page copy to the exact keyword a visitor searched for.
Two caveats before you sign up. First, the visitor caps matter. Every tier meters your visitors, 500 on Starter, 20,000 on Build, 30,000 on Experiment, 50,000 on Optimize, with overage if you exceed it. Second, if you’re planning to drive page creation from an AI assistant, Unbounce ships MCP support too. It connects Unbounce to Claude and ChatGPT on every plan, including during the free trial. The overall value case remains a paid-media one. If you’re spending $2,000 to $5,000 or more on ads a month and running several variants, Smart Traffic can pay for the Optimize tier by itself. Below that threshold, the math tips toward Leadpages.
Also great: Landingi
Landingi is the cheapest working entry point in this ranking, and its AI page generator is available on every plan, not gated to a premium tier. The Build plan includes up to 10 active landing pages, 2,000 monthly visits, one custom domain, and 2,500 credits per month, and lets you use the Lunar AI Page Generator, a classic landing page builder, forms, integrations, AI assistants, basic analytics, and pre-designed sections. Build at $29/month ($24 annually) gives you enough to launch a single campaign or test the builder properly, but the 2,000-visit cap is tight, so move up once real traffic arrives.
The way Landingi’s AI works is a genuine differentiator worth understanding. General AI tools usually process the entire request within one selected model and return text, instructions, or code. The Lunar AI page generator turns a chat-based prompt into one editable page inside the Landingi workspace, which you then customize using the built-in editor. Whether that measurably improves output over other generators is a hands-on test we haven’t run, but the workflow is unusual for this category.
The catch is that the entry Build tier leaves out the optimization layer. Solis AI Insights, Smart Sections, Server-Side A/B Testing, and EventTracker all start at Optimize or Scale, so the real working tier for most marketers is Optimize. That’s $149/month ($119 annually), which gets you 100 landing pages, 30,000 visits, A/B testing, Smart Sections, and Solis AI Insights. Landingi also runs an MCP server, Orbit, that connects the platform to an outside LLM if you prefer to drive page creation from Claude or ChatGPT.
Also great: Instapage
Instapage is the professional-grade option in this list, and it’s honest about who that means. If you’re a performance team spending $50,000 a month or more on ads, running dozens of ad-to-page variations, and AdMap fits how you work, Instapage is built for exactly that. For a founder-led small business, that’s a mismatch, but there are two reasons Instapage still earns a slot: server-side A/B testing that avoids flickering, and unlimited pages and conversions on every tier. Unlimited pages, unlimited conversions, and unlimited contacts come on every tier, which is genuinely in Instapage’s favor, and so do the AI content tools for generating headlines, paragraphs, and CTAs.
The pricing gap between the plans is the reason we don’t rank it higher. The Create plan is Instapage’s entry-level offering: $99/month (or $79/month billed annually), with a 15,000 unique monthly visitor cap. This tier includes the core page building experience: the drag-and-drop builder, over 200 templates, the Instablocks library for reusable components, AI content generation, and publishing to a custom domain. What’s missing matters: no A/B testing, no heatmaps, and no dynamic text replacement, so this plan is fundamentally a landing page builder, not a conversion optimization platform. Annual billing takes roughly 20% off (about $79 and $159 a month by trackers’ math). There’s no free plan, only a 14-day trial capped at 2,500 visitors, and the number that decides your real bill isn’t the plan price but the monthly visitor allowance: 15,000 on Create and 30,000 on Optimize.
The AI generator on Instapage is also a narrower thing than what Leadpages, Unbounce, Landingi, or Framer ship. Instapage’s AI helps write headlines, paragraphs, and CTAs; you still build page structure, layout, and flows yourself. If AI page generation from a prompt is what you’re paying for, this isn’t the pick.
Budget pick: Framer
Framer isn’t a landing page specialist. It’s a design-first website builder that has added AI agents to the canvas, and for a founder who wants a beautiful, hand-crafted page on a $10-a-month plan, it’s the best value in this list. Framer 3.0 brought AI agents to the canvas to help you design, write, analyze, and organize your sites. Agents bring speed and scale; you bring taste, judgment, and control.
The pricing math is genuinely attractive for a small business. Basic starts at $10 a month on yearly billing, giving you a custom domain, 2 CMS collections, 1,000 monthly credits, and 50 GB of bandwidth. That’s a good setup for a portfolio, a simple landing page, a consultant site, or a small service business. The AI is metered in credits, not a fixed feature, and the credit budget scales with the plan. Framer gives each workspace a shared monthly pool of AI credits: free workspaces get 500 credits a month, Basic gets 1,000 per paid site, and Pro gets 3,000. If you have more than one paid site in the same workspace, those credits stack together. On the base model, Free’s 500 daily credits are good for roughly two landing pages a day, Basic’s 1,000 a month for around five, and Pro’s 3,000 a month for about ten.
Two real caveats. First, Framer doesn’t have built-in A/B testing on Basic or Pro. Framer Convert lets you create up to 5 page variants and track conversions without writing any code, priced at $50 per 500K events, but it’s only available on the Scale plan and really only pays off for high-traffic marketing teams. Second, watch bandwidth. Once you move above baseline bandwidth, you get charged $40 per 100 GB, and a high-traffic campaign can generate overage charges without any warnings. For a hand-designed page that catches paid or organic traffic modestly and doesn’t need built-in split testing, Framer is the best-looking $10 you can spend in this list.
How to choose
The decision tree is short. If your budget is real ($99/month or more) and you’re driving paid traffic that has to be tested, start on Leadpages Grow. If you’re spending $2,000+/month on ads and want per-visitor AI routing specifically, go to Unbounce Optimize. If your budget is $24 to $30/month and you can live with a 2,000-visit cap while you validate, Landingi Build is the cheapest working entry point. If you want a hand-designed page for $10/month and you don’t need built-in A/B testing, Framer Basic. And if you’re already spending $50K/month on ads with dozens of ad-to-page variants, Instapage is built for that job.
We wouldn’t run more than one of these at a time. If you’re picking a landing page builder and also planning distribution on email or social, the ranking that pairs with this one on the content side is our guide to the best AI social media content tools.
