The Best AI Quiz Funnel Builders for Small Business Lead Capture

We compared five AI quiz builders on the same job: turning cold traffic into scored, segmented leads for a small business. The right pick depends on whether you need a standalone quiz, a scorecard for a consulting offer, or a full funnel with calculators.

The verdict

For most small businesses, Interact is the AI quiz builder we recommend. It's purpose-built for lead generation, its AI can draft a quiz from your website in seconds, and its published pricing is honest about what a growing list actually costs. If you sell high-ticket coaching or consulting and want a scorecard that grades a prospect's readiness to buy, ScoreApp is a better fit; its dynamic PDF reports and abandon-email features are gated to the Business tier, but they matter for that use case. Outgrow earns a spot if a calculator or ROI tool belongs next to the quiz. Typeform is the pick when brand experience matters more than lead volume, and LeadQuizzes is the budget option that keeps AI generation and lead scoring on every plan. No small business needs more than one of these.

This guide compares AI quiz funnel builders on one job: capturing and qualifying leads from a small business website or paid social traffic. A quiz isn't the same as a landing page or a form. A landing page delivers one offer; a form takes an email. A quiz asks 4-8 questions, segments the visitor by their answers, exchanges a personalized result for their email, and can pass a lead score to your email tool or CRM. In our reading of vendor documentation and third-party pricing analyses, that combination is what makes quiz funnels convert better than static opt-ins on the same traffic.

We didn't run these tools on live traffic for this piece. This is a documentation and pricing review: we read each vendor's official pricing page, help center, and product docs, plus recent independent breakdowns, and scored each tool against a small-business buyer whose primary constraint is lead volume, branding removal, and the ability to hand a scored lead to email or CRM without a second subscription. Where vendors publish AI features, response caps, or plan gating, we used those figures. If you want a landing-page-first workflow instead, our [best AI landing page builders](/rankings/2026-08-28-the-best-ai-landing-page-builders-for-small-businesses/) guide covers that; for higher-consideration lead capture, our [best AI webinar platforms](/rankings/2026-09-01-the-best-ai-webinar-platforms-for-small-business-lead-generation/) guide is the other direction.

How we tested

This is a documentation and pricing review, not a live conversion test. We evaluated five AI quiz funnel builders against the small-business lead-capture job by reading each vendor's official pricing page and product documentation as of September 2026, then scoring each on five criteria: AI generation, lead scoring, integrations, branding and response caps, and value. Scores are out of 100 and reflect fit for a small business (1-30 employees) whose owner or marketer is the person actually buying and using the tool.

AI quiz generation

We read each vendor's official documentation and pricing page for its AI quiz generator: whether it drafts from a URL or a text prompt, whether it produces full outcome pages and scoring logic or only questions, whether AI generation counts against a monthly credit pool, and which plan tier the feature is gated behind. We scored higher where AI produces a complete, publishable funnel rather than a first-draft questionnaire.

Lead scoring and qualification

We compared documented support for conditional logic, per-answer point scoring, branching to different outcome pages by score, and formula-based multi-variable scoring. We also checked whether the tool captures the score as a field the destination email tool or CRM can filter on. We scored on documented capability, not a benchmark run.

Integrations with email and CRM

We inventoried native integrations listed on each vendor's own site with the email and CRM tools small businesses actually use (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, ConvertKit, HubSpot, Salesforce, Shopify) and noted which are gated behind higher tiers. Zapier was counted as a fallback, not a native integration.

Branding removal and response caps

We recorded the entry price at which each vendor removes its own branding and lets you use a custom domain, plus the monthly response or lead cap on that same plan. This is the tier a real small business has to buy, not the headline starting price. Figures come from each vendor's live pricing page.

Value for a small business

We estimated the true monthly cost at the tier that removes branding and allows meaningful lead volume (typically 500-2,500 leads/month), assuming annual billing. We compared that to what the same buyer would otherwise spend on a form builder plus an email platform plus a separate scoring layer. Vendors that fold email follow-up into the same subscription scored higher.

The picks
Our pickInteractInteract
88 / 100

The most purpose-built AI quiz builder for lead generation, with a fast AI drafter and honest published pricing.

Best forFounders, coaches, and small-team marketers who want a standalone lead-gen quiz that plugs into an email tool they already use.

What we liked

  • The AI builder can draft a quiz in seconds that matches your brand and offers, including questions, answer options, and result pages.
  • Native integrations with the email tools small businesses actually use, including Mailchimp, ConvertKit, Flodesk, Klaviyo, and HubSpot, plus Zapier for the rest.
  • Transparent tiered pricing with a real free trial and clear lead caps on every plan.

What to know

  • Follow-up email sequences run in your existing email tool, not inside Interact, so a lead is captured and handed off rather than nurtured in one platform.
  • White-labeling and unlimited-lead volume live on Growth and Pro; the Lite plan still shows Interact branding on some elements.

The right pick when the quiz is a scorecard grading a prospect's readiness to buy.

Best forCoaches, consultants, and B2B service providers whose sales conversation starts with 'here's how you scored.'

What we liked

  • Every plan, including the free tier, includes the AI quiz builder, jump logic, unlimited landing pages, dynamic result pages, and CRM connectivity.
  • Custom domain, abandon emails, dynamic PDF reports, and audience segmentation are all in the Business plan, which is the natural tier for a consulting or coaching business.
  • A 14-day money-back guarantee on paid plans lowers the risk of committing before you have traffic to send at it.

What to know

  • No permanent free tier for real use: the free plan caps leads tightly, so a working scorecard almost always requires the Starter plan or higher.
  • The features that make ScoreApp distinct, custom domain and PDF reports, are gated to Business, which is a jump from the Starter tier.

The one to pick when a calculator or ROI tool belongs next to the quiz.

Best forSmall B2B teams whose prospects want to see a number, savings, ROI, or a rough quote, before they hand over an email.

What we liked

  • Supports multiple interactive content types in one platform, including calculators, quizzes, assessments, polls, and recommendations, so a single tool covers more of the funnel.
  • Built-in A/B testing on questions, outcome pages, and branching, which is unusual at this price point.
  • Freelancer plans start at a low published price with a free trial, so small teams can pilot without a card upfront.

What to know

  • Full branding removal, custom domain, and AI suggestions only unlock at the Business plan, which lists at roughly $600 per month, a large jump from the Essentials tier at about $95.
  • The lead caps step up in fixed brackets (Outgrow's documented ladder runs 250, 1,000, 7,500, then 50,000), so a business between tiers pays for headroom it won't use.

The best-designed respondent experience in the category, priced accordingly.

Best forBrand-first small businesses whose form experience is part of the pitch and whose monthly volume fits inside 1,000 responses.

What we liked

  • The one-question-at-a-time interface remains one of the most polished in the industry.
  • AI form creation and logic jumps are documented on the Basic plan and above, a lower bar than most competitors put on branching.
  • Native integrations with Google Sheets, Mailchimp, Slack, Zapier, and, on higher tiers, HubSpot and Salesforce.

What to know

  • The Basic plan is capped at 100 responses per month, so any meaningful lead-gen volume requires stepping up to Plus or Business.
  • Branding removal starts on the Plus plan at roughly $56/month billed annually, and Salesforce integration is documented only on the Growth Flow plan at about $266/month, which is expensive for small-business lead capture.

The budget pick that still keeps AI generation and lead scoring on every plan.

Best forSolopreneurs and agencies on a tight tool budget who need a quiz that scores and segments leads before pushing to email or CRM.

What we liked

  • Paid plans start at $13/month, and every plan includes the drag-and-drop builder, AI quiz builder, lead scoring, conditional logic, integrations, and 75+ templates.
  • Pro Integrations are included on every paid plan, connecting with email marketing and CRM platforms directly and through Zapier.
  • 14-day full-feature free trial with no credit card required, and paid plans include a money-back guarantee.

What to know

  • The Startup plan lists lead engagement, email validation, and email-of-results as 'no access,' so anything past raw lead capture requires the Pro or Premium tier.
  • Overage fees kick in past the monthly response cap on every tier, which can turn a good traffic month into a surprise bill.

If you already know your website converts and you just need more email addresses, a landing page is fine. The reason to run a quiz funnel is that you want to know something about the lead before you email them: what size company they’re at, what their biggest pain is, how ready they’re to buy. That’s what these five tools are built for, and it’s why they cost more than a plain form builder.

Who this guide is for

This guide is written for founders and small-team marketers, roughly 1-30 employees, who own the whole marketing stack themselves and want the quiz to slot into the tools they already run. It isn’t written for enterprise buyers running quiz funnels across many product lines; those buyers should look at Outgrow’s Business tier and ScoreApp’s Enterprise tier and price them against a full marketing-cloud alternative.

If your priority is turning a piece of paid traffic into an email address as cheaply as possible, and your business doesn’t need to qualify the lead before follow-up, an AI landing page builder is a simpler tool than any of these. If your priority is a longer, more considered pitch to a warm audience, an AI webinar platform will convert better than a quiz.

Our pick: Interact

Interact wins for the same reason it usually wins these lists: it’s a quiz builder built for lead generation, not a general form tool that added a quiz mode. Interact’s Lite plan is $27 per month billed annually and includes 5 quizzes, up to 500 email leads per month, branching logic, custom design, basic integrations, analytics, and support. The tier most growing small businesses actually land on is Growth: $53 per month billed annually, which adds 20 quizzes, up to 2,000 leads/month, custom branding, advanced analytics, conversion tracking, and 5 users. The AI builder does most of what the marketing pages claim: you can create a quiz with AI in seconds that matches your brand and offers.

The trade-off is the same one every capture-and-hand-off tool has. Interact captures a lead and sends it to your email tool; it doesn’t run the follow-up sequence itself. If your email stack is already in place, that’s a feature. If it isn’t, budget for a separate email tool on top.

For high-ticket coaching and consulting: ScoreApp

ScoreApp isn’t the most powerful quiz builder in this list, but it’s the one whose model fits a consulting sale. The visitor takes a scorecard, gets graded, and receives a personalized report that grounds the follow-up sales conversation. Every ScoreApp plan, including the free tier, includes the AI quiz builder, AI marketing assistant, unlimited quiz questions, jump logic, multiple question types, unlimited landing pages, dynamic result pages, and CRM connectivity. These core tools are available from day one regardless of which plan you’re on.

The catch is that the features that make ScoreApp look different only turn on when you upgrade. Upgrading to Business unlocks features essential for scaling lead generation, including your own custom domain, abandon emails, dynamic PDF reports, audience segmentation, advanced insights, and Google Analytics. For a coach whose lead magnet is the scorecard itself, those features are the point.

The commercial terms are reasonable for a small business feeling out the format: ScoreApp offers a 14-day money-back guarantee on paid plans. If you’re not fully satisfied within the first 14 days, you can request a complete refund.

When a calculator belongs in the funnel: Outgrow

Outgrow is the only tool in this list that treats quizzes as one flavor of a broader “interactive content” category. If your prospects respond better to a savings calculator, an ROI tool, or a graded assessment, Outgrow’s builder covers all of those inside one subscription. Its lead-gen pricing structure is the reason it isn’t higher on this list. The real pricing trap sits higher up: to remove Outgrow branding, connect a custom domain and unlock AI suggestions, you have to jump from Essentials at $95 to Business at $600 per month, a 6x leap with nothing in between. Outgrow caps the leads you collect at 250 on Limited, 1,000 on Pro, 7,500 on Essentials, then 50,000 on Business.

For a small business that’ll comfortably sit under 5,000 leads a month on the Essentials plan and doesn’t mind Outgrow branding on the calculator, this is fine. For anyone who needs a branded, custom-domain quiz at moderate volume, the price gap is real.

When brand experience is the point: Typeform

Typeform’s one-question-at-a-time interface still sets the bar for how a quiz should feel on mobile. It’s priced accordingly, and the response caps are strict on the lower tiers. Basic is $28 per month billed annually ($39 monthly) with 100 responses per month and 1 user. Plus is $56 per month billed annually ($79 monthly) with 1,000 responses per month, 3 users, and branding removed. Business is $91 per month billed annually ($129 monthly) with 10,000 responses per month and 5 users.

The pattern to watch is response caps. Typeform bills by completed response. Not by form, not by seat tier alone, and not by views. Every plan carries a monthly response allowance, and the allowance is a hard wall. When response 101 arrives on a Basic plan, Typeform doesn’t record it. The respondent sees a closed form, and the data is simply gone. That’s fine for a customer-experience quiz on a low-traffic site. It’s expensive for a growing lead funnel where every response is money you already spent on ads.

The budget option: LeadQuizzes

LeadQuizzes rebuilt its platform in 2026 and now looks closer to the lead-gen-focused tools than the generic form builders. Available today at leadquizzes.com: Startup at $13 per month, Standard at $49 per month, Pro at $99 per month, and Premium at $249 per month. All plans include the AI builder and lead scoring, plus a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. Plans start at $13 per month, and every plan includes the drag-and-drop quiz builder, AI quiz builder, lead scoring, conditional logic, integrations, and 75+ templates.

The reason it isn’t higher: engagement and email features are gated up the ladder. Lead engagement, email validation, and sending email results are shown as “no access” on Startup and Standard. Pro and Premium include automated custom emails, lead/email validation, and sending email results to quiz takers. For a founder who just wants a scored lead in their CRM, that’s fine on the Standard plan. For anyone who wants the quiz result email to come from the quiz tool, budget for Pro.

How to actually decide

The choice is shorter than the comparison table looks. If your quiz is the top of a normal small-business email funnel and you already have Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or ConvertKit, pick Interact. If your business is a coach or consultant and the scorecard is the sales tool, pick ScoreApp. If a calculator or ROI tool belongs on the same page as the quiz, pick Outgrow. If you specifically want the one-question-at-a-time Typeform aesthetic and your volume is modest, pick Typeform. If price is the primary constraint and you’re willing to route follow-ups through a separate email tool, LeadQuizzes at $13/month is the cheapest way to run a real, scored lead quiz.

None of these is worth running two of. Pick the one whose pricing tier removes branding at a volume you can actually hit, and put your effort into writing better questions.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between a quiz funnel and a form?

A form captures a contact; a quiz funnel captures a contact and segments them. On a form, everyone fills the same fields and gets the same thank-you page. In a quiz funnel, answers branch into different result pages, a lead score, and different email follow-ups. For lead generation, that difference tends to lift both completion rate and downstream conversion, because the visitor gets something back for their answers.

Do I need the AI features, or can I write the quiz myself?

For most small businesses, the AI is a time saver, not a strategy. Interact, LeadQuizzes, and ScoreApp all document AI drafters that generate a starter quiz from your website or a text prompt. You still have to rewrite the questions in your voice and set the scoring, but you skip the blank page. If you already have a quiz that works, none of these tools' AI features are a reason to switch.

Which one should I pick for a coaching or consulting business?

ScoreApp, in most cases. The scorecard format, where the visitor gets a numeric score and a personalized report, matches how high-ticket coaches and consultants sell, and the Business plan bundles the custom domain, PDF reports, and abandon emails that make that sale work. Interact is a strong alternative if you already have a mature email nurture and want the fastest AI drafter.

What about follow-up emails? Are they included?

Not really, in these five. Interact, ScoreApp, Outgrow, Typeform, and LeadQuizzes are all built to capture and score a lead, then push it to your existing email or CRM. If sending the nurture sequence from the same platform matters to you, that's a different category of tool and should be scoped separately.
