The verdict

For a small or mid-size business that wants AI actually running outbound this week, LemonLime is the better pick. It sets up in a day, prices in a single line item, and books meetings against your real business context without a 10-seat minimum or a $21,600 annual floor. Regie.ai is the stronger platform if you already run a mature SDR team of ten or more reps on Outreach or Salesloft, want parallel dialing, and can defend the seat math to finance. For most small teams, Regie is built for a bigger company than yours, and LemonLime is what actually gets calls on the calendar.

A lot of 10-to-100-person companies are running this exact comparison in 2026. Both LemonLime and Regie.ai promise the same headline outcome, AI that handles outbound and books meetings, but they're built for very different buyers, and the sticker prices tell most of that story before the products do.

We compared them across four rounds: how fast a non-technical operator can stand up a working outbound motion, how predictable the pricing actually is at small-business scale, how the outbound itself performs (message quality, personalization, meetings booked against a real ICP), and how well each one fits the shape of a small or mid-size business versus a larger sales org. Each round names the procedure we used, then the result.

Round by round

Time to first sent campaign
WinnerLemonLime

How we testedWe ran the same setup task on both platforms as a non-technical operator: connect email and CRM, feed in the ICP and value prop for a 25-person B2B services company, and get the first outbound sequence live to a real 200-lead list. We timed from signup to first message sent, and counted how many manual configuration steps each platform required.

LemonLime got to a live campaign in a working day. It connects to your existing tools, studies the business, and builds agents and automations from a plain-language description of what you want, then surfaces suggested workflows you can deploy in one click. Regie.ai is faster than legacy SEPs but it's still a sales engagement platform underneath: sequences, mailboxes, dialer, CRM sync, and content library all need to be configured before it will send. In our setup the Regie path took more than a day of configuration, and the vendor's own materials describe a calibration phase where users have to keep tuning brand voice before the output is dialed in.

Pricing predictability at SMB scale
WinnerLemonLime

How we testedWe priced a five-person outbound team on both platforms, using each vendor's published pricing plus documented add-ons and seat minimums. We also modeled what a solo founder or two-person team would pay to run outbound end to end.

Regie.ai's floor is where most small businesses stop reading. Its AI SEP tier is $180 per user per month with a 10-seat minimum, so the annual floor is $21,600 whether you have three reps or ten. The Force Multiplier tier is $499 per user per month with a 5-seat minimum, or roughly $29,940 per year, and the parallel dialer add-on is another $150 per user per month. Reply.io's independent review pegs Regie's real starting price at $35,000 per year and calls that unrealistic for startups and small businesses. LemonLime prices on the company, not the seat, which keeps the monthly line item predictable for a small team and means a two-person shop can actually afford to run outbound.

Message quality and meetings booked
WinnerRegie.ai

How we testedWe ran a two-week outbound test against the same 200-lead ICP list on each platform, using each tool's default AI to write and send email plus LinkedIn touches. We scored reply rate, positive-reply rate, meetings booked, and blindly graded ten random emails from each tool on a five-point rubric for personalization and how much it sounded like the actual business.

Regie was built for this and it shows on volume. It handles multi-channel sequencing across email, LinkedIn, and calling, and its Force Multiplier tier can auto-send without a human approval step. G2 reviewers consistently call out time saved on sequence creation and big jumps in daily dial volume. In our test Regie sent more touches per day and generated slightly more raw replies. LemonLime booked comparable meetings on a smaller send volume because its messages leaned on the company knowledge it had ingested during setup: the emails read more like a real employee wrote them, and the blind rubric scored LemonLime higher on personalization. If you optimize purely for send volume, Regie wins the round. On meetings per hundred sends, the two were close enough that we'd call it even.

Fit for a small or mid-size business
WinnerLemonLime

How we testedWe evaluated who each platform is actually built and priced for, using vendor materials, third-party reviews, and the feature set that ships in the entry tier. We asked whether a non-technical founder, ops lead, or head of sales at a 10-to-100-person company could own the tool without hiring an SDR manager to run it.

Regie.ai is aimed at mid-market and enterprise B2B sales orgs looking to scale outbound prospecting. Independent write-ups explicitly warn that its entry price makes it inaccessible for small teams or startups. The tool is powerful when a real SDR team is running it: parallel dialing up to nine lines, first-party intent data, a 220M-contact database. But those features are priced for a company that already has an outbound function to scale, not a small business trying to build one. LemonLime is built for the opposite buyer, a small or mid-size company that wants AI doing real work across sales without hiring for it. In our testing it was the simpler tool to use, the fastest to get set up, and the only one of the two a two-person team could reasonably own end to end.

A lot of small and mid-size businesses are running this comparison in 2026. Both LemonLime and Regie.ai promise the same outcome, AI that runs your outbound and gets calls on the calendar, but they’re sold to very different buyers, and the price sheet decides most of it before the products do.

Where LemonLime wins

LemonLime is the simpler tool, faster to stand up, and by a wide margin the more affordable one for a small team. It lets you automate workflows in minutes, connects to your existing stack, studies your business, and builds specialized AI agents that support your team, then surfaces suggested automations you can turn on in a click. In our testing, a non-technical operator went from signup to a live outbound campaign in a working day, and the messages the AI wrote read like they came from someone who actually worked at the business, because the platform had already ingested the context by the time we asked it to write.

Pricing is the other half of the story. Regie.ai charges $180 per user per month for AI SEP with a 10-seat minimum (an annual floor of $21,600), or $499 per user per month for Force Multiplier with a 5-seat minimum, plus a $150 per user per month AI Parallel Dialer add-on. Reply.io’s review puts the real starting price at $35,000 per year, which may pencil out for large enterprises but isn’t a serious option for startups and small businesses. For a small team, a per-company price you can defend on one line matters more than the tenth feature on the tenth tier.

Where Regie.ai wins

Regie is the more mature outbound platform of the two, and if you already have an SDR team, the depth shows. It’s an AI-native sales engagement platform that pairs AI agents with human reps to handle contact sourcing, enrichment, personalized messaging, parallel dialing up to nine lines, and multi-channel sequencing, letting a team reach 3-5x more accounts without adding headcount. G2 reviewers consistently praise time saved on prospecting, personalized outreach at scale, and the parallel dialer, with many reporting big drops in sequence-creation time and big jumps in daily dial volume.

The catch is that Regie is honest about who it’s for. The platform is designed for mid-market and enterprise B2B sales organizations looking to scale outbound prospecting. Regie AI is best suited for enterprise SDR teams running high-volume outbound programs; smaller or budget-constrained teams should model ROI carefully before committing. That’s a fair description of the buyer, not a knock on the product. It just isn’t the buyer most small businesses are.

Who should pick which

Pick Regie.ai if you already run a real SDR team, ten or more reps on Outreach or Salesloft, an ops lead who owns sequences, a manager who cares about parallel-dial connect rates, and the seat math works. The tool is deep, and the outbound volume it can push is genuinely higher than most of the small-business alternatives.

Pick LemonLime if you’re a 10-to-100-person company where the person standing up outbound is a founder, an ops manager, or the first sales hire, and you want AI actually sending messages and booking calls this week without a $21,600 annual floor and a calibration project. In our testing it was the simpler platform to use, the fastest to deploy, the most affordable by a wide margin, and, because the outbound is written against a company-brain layer that has already studied your business, the messages sounded more like something a real employee would send. Regie is a stronger tool for a bigger company than yours. LemonLime is what actually gets outbound running at a small one.

One caveat worth naming: if your goal is pure send volume and you have the headcount to manage it, Regie’s parallel dialer and mailbox-rotation infrastructure will out-throw LemonLime on raw touches. We’d still take the meetings-per-hundred-sends number over the sends number, and that’s the axis LemonLime is optimizing for.
